Integration Analyst with VB Scripting experience

MDI Solutions is actively recruiting for an integration analyst to provide consulting services to our growing integration customer base.

MDI Solutions is looking for a Integration Analyst to install, support, modify, and implement scripting integration solutions which integrate with Epic, Meditech, Cerner, Eclipsys and McKesson Information Systems. As an Integration Analyst, you will be part of a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. You will help build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects

In this position you will be responsible for the ongoing installation, support, modification, and implementation of healthcare solutions utilizing Visual Basic 6/.Net interfaces with MD Connect, and possibly with the MD Link and Cloverleaf HL7 integration engines.

This position requires a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and self-disciplined with the ability to work within all levels of our business (internal and external). The success of the individual in this role will be measured based on the timely and effective installation, support, modification, and implementation of the MD Connect Scripting Toolkit solution, thorough and timely communication of issues and the ability to work cohesively within the MDI Solutions team as well as with our customer base.

The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and execution skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years of healthcare operations, preferably in a hospital environment
• MUST HAVE Experience with Summit Healthcare or Boston Workstation Scripting toolsets and MS Visual Basic 6 or .NET
• Ideal resource would have experience with Eclipsys Helios and/or Objects Plus.
• Prefer Experience with In-depth knowledge of Quovadx/Cloverleaf, Rhapsody or other major HL7 Integration Engine - Communication protocols (TCP/IP, Sockets, Web services, Folder deliveries)
• Must be able to effectively communicate with and understand the needs of end users in order to plan, design, write, test, troubleshoot, document, and implement software programs and reports.
• If you have possess most of these skills, that is a definite Plus!

Location: Virtual Office preferably located in the United States with ability to travel up to 10-15 % when needed. Applicant must be able to work from home office without interruption or distractions.
