HL7 Cloverleaf Integration Developer

MDI Solutions is actively recruitingand is searching for a qualified HL7 Cloverleaf Integration Developer for our growing integration customer base.

In this position of HL7 Cloverleaf Developer,you will be responsible for regional or enterprise design, development and implementation of strategic architectures of healthcare interfaces at an enterprise level. This includes an understanding of methodology, design, specifications, programming, delivery, monitoring, and support standards. Involved in strategic planning activities and researches emerging Internet technology, programming languages and tools, and e-business standards for use in effective existing or new enterprise application/systems.

Individual must have a strong working knowledge with Healthcare Interface Engines, Web languages, scripting and web development. Applied knowledge in a combination of two or more of the following areas: TCL development, XML/DHTML/HTML, HL7 development, HL7 Cloverleaf Integration Engine, Q/A Testing or Technical Project Leadership for development.

This position requires a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and self-disciplined with the ability to work within all levels of our business (internal and external). The success of the individual in this role will be measured based on the timely and effective installation, support, modification, and implementation of the Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Suite solution, thorough and timely communication of issues and the ability to work cohesively within the MDI Solutions team as well as with our customer base.

The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and execution skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working experience with the following HL7 messages: ADT (admit/discharge/transfer), ORM (order), ORU (observation result), and DFT (detailed financial transaction); Also an understanding of the principles of asynchronous information exchange interfaces
• Minimum of four (3) years development experience with the Cloverleaf Interface Engine applications required
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with TCL and/or Cloverleaf HL7 required.
• Knowledge of Web Services languages such as: HTML, DHTML, XML
• Prefer Experience with In-depth knowledge of Lawson Cloverleaf HL7 Integration Engine - Communication protocols (TCP/IP, Sockets, Web services, Folder deliveries)
• Must be able to effectively communicate with and understand the needs of end users in order to plan, design, write, test, troubleshoot, document, and implement software programs and reports.
• HL7 Lawson Cloverleaf Level 1 or 2 Certification
• Associate’s Degree & 5+ years of related experience; or Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) & 3+ years of related experience as a System Analyst for clinical applications; or equivalent combination of education & experience

Location: Ability to travel up to 80% with a virtual office preferably located in the United States.
