28 Aug MDI Solutions Interface Engine enables Patient Monitor Integration
Lincoln Community Hospital (LCH) in Hugo, Colorado has licensed the MD Link Integration Engine software from MDI Solutions to integrate its Mindray bedside monitors.
Lincoln Hospital had acquired bedside patient monitoring devices from Mindray Medical. Wanting to maximize the effectiveness of the patient monitors, LCH determined that they would need a middleware platform to exchange data between the monitors and their Healthland EHR. The MD Link integration engine from MDI Solutions was chosen to manage the data flow between the two vendor systems; ADT information will be uploaded to the bedside devices and the clinical results will need to be sent from the devices to the EHR. Along with managing the HL7 data integration, MD Link will be configured with automated alert notifications to detect any service disruptions.
Lincoln Community Hospital and Care Center is a Critical Access Hospital in Hugo, Colorado. The hospital is the only hospital within a 75 mile radius of Hugo and serves Lincoln County and other eastern plains communities. Lincoln Community Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center with paramedic staffed ambulance transport, imaging and lab services, outpatient therapy, community and specialty health clinics, social and behavioral health services and SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) program.
