Once the data is captured by the software it can be transmitted into virtually any format such as HL7, XML, X12 (others) via TCPIP. Now, Orders can be placed from the physician EMR for laboratory, microbiology and blood bank tests. MD Connect is the solution that allows physicians to enter lab orders and retrieve results through their EMR.
