Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Memphis, TN has extended its relationship with MDI Solutions to assist with the migration from their Sybase eBiz Impact engine to the Orion Rhapsody Integration Engine.

Following a successful initial migration of core interfaces, MDI Solutions was awarded an additional services contract to develop and install Rhapsody interfaces. MDI Solutions specializes in healthcare integration services and has a team of expert resources with experience developing and migration interfaces on all major integration platforms.

The overall migration project requires 40+ interfaces to be migrated or newly developed and will include the following systems integration with Cerner:

  • Results (Radiology, Insurance, Laboratory, Cardiology, Discharge Summary) from Cerner to eHealth
  • FTP files with PGP encryption from Cerner to MedArm
  • GE PACS ADT, Orders, Results from Cerner to GE
  • Encompass ADT and Results from Cerner to Encompass

Methodist has a mandate to have all interfaces ‘Live’ for December 2013. As such, MDI has assigned 3 senior resources with expertise on both the eBiz-Impact and Rhapsody engines to ensure a successful implementation.
