e-Health26 – Digital Health Conference: e-Health is the premier event for Canadian digital health professionals working to make a difference in health and healthcare delivery. Since its inception in 2000, the e-Health Conference and Tradeshow has served as a vital epicentre of Canadian digital health discussion and debate, attracting over 1,400 health professionals annually.
Along with their HL7 interface software and services, MDI Solutions will be showcasing their OCR/AI interoperability module. The MD Link OCR module converts unstructured documents like digital scans and eFaxes into actionable data. Utilizing an LLM, scanned data is converted to HL7, which can then be used to verify/add patients in an EHR, create Orders, process eReferrals and upload the original documents to the patient record. The user also has the option to validate and edit the scanned data with a view of the original document via an interactive GUI.
