18 Apr MDI Solutions pre-qualifies for NHS Supply Chain RIS/PACS procurement
MDI Solutions has been shortlisted by the NHS Supply Chain (acting as an agent for the NHS Business Services Authority) based on their bid response to the Pre Qualification Questionnaire for PACS and RIS solutions (Official Journal of the European Union reference: 2012/S 41-066479). MDI is shortlisted to be invited to tender for LOT 5: DICOM Data Migration Solutions.
MDI’s success in this bid response can be largely credited to their ongoing work with NIPACS (the Northern Ireland PACS project). To date MDI’s migration team has successfully migrated and validated 30+ terabytes of data for the 10 Trusts who make up NIPACS. A case study can be viewed on the MDI website at NIPACS Case Study.
MDI is working directly with Sectra (www.sectra.com), Milton Keynes, United Kingdom to migrate all legacy images and data to the new Sectra central repository.
